Maybe Kovy will come back after seeing what a PATHETIC, God-awful performance his countrymen put out.. led by their best player, Ovechkin. Perhaps all the money he makes will help ease the loss of his dignity. ANOTHER, a SECOND CONSECUTIVE PATHETIC performance from the MIGHTY MOTHERLAND. fools. what a joke. The KHL isn't remotely comparable to the NHL. It's not even close. But he likes that. It's fun for him. He makes the money, has fun, works half as hard as he had to in the NHL. Isn't that what everyone wants? To get paid more to work less? But no glory. No glory. But perhaps that's not a priority for him. He's happy providing for his family and having fun. ugh.

Horribly coached, should've had Bobs in all game, but these players played a lazy game. Watched the whole thing.. LAZY. Outworked, time and time again in all zones.
They're the stain of poop for the game of hockey. ALL these countries have worked their tails off to compete and play this beautiful game. Russia just takes their entitled rich selves and gives us, and their own country, a pathetic despicable performance.

I can see Radulov getting out of Russia as soon as he can we desperately need scoring but Lou likely wouldn't bite after what Kovy did. Radulov is horrendous. Why do you think Nashville let him walk? They need scoring more than we do. He's probably the worst team player out there. Why do you think Russia continues not to medal every olympics? Its because just throwing a bunch of skilled players with no commitment to a team system will never win. We saw that once again today.

I was thinking someone more low-key. Komorov is a UFA this summer and he's an absolute pest. Rather have him than CamJam

More rest for our players please

I'm not talking about giving the keys to the joint to Kovy or Radulov. They did poor because every single player on that team is the same type of player. We have lots of solid guys the only thing either of them would be doing is scoring goals it was stupid to put a team of offensive guys together and think they could compete it's not like that in the NHL and we certainly aren't filled with skilled guys so I don't see how their performance in the olympics would make any difference in them coming back. I don't want them to be our heart and soul that would be stupid I want them for their scoring and to be honest Radulov was one of the only Russians outside of Datsyuk who should any heart and a will to get things going.Also Nashville let Radulov walk ? I don't really think they had a say in it to be honest why keep a guy who doesn't want to play for you? People in the NHL and who run franchises are more mature then to just pout and hold him from playing.

I also said before the tournament that Russia would not medal.

Be one of the best players you could get without giving up any assets I don't see what the big deal is. Lou loves to give nothing up to get something. Like we can turn down scoring something cause win so many games by 3 or more goals hell I am sure Cory Schneider would be happier then a pig in poop to see either of those guys added to NJ.

I have and he has a ton of talent. He isn't going to cost anything but money if he comes back. Kovy couldn't play any defense before he got here we turned him into a responsible player, now he might of forgot everything he learned defensively but it shows players can change and this might be a big wake up call to these guys who left the best league in the world and the best fans in the world to be in a place that I can't see them being comfortable living in anymore. Maybe they both stay over there but if there was ever any hope in them coming back to the NHL it would be right now. If we can add someone who might take a few shifts off but still scores more then Ryder and Brunner then I won't complain because neither of them are consistent and one of the is a pim machine.

I'm actually pretty pumped to see the Kunetzov kid since he is apparently coming to the caps once the season starts up again
